i agree with what you're saying...as background checks and red flag laws are needed...the problem remains tho is how do you keep guns out of the hands of criminals and whack jobs...
The problem is that there is no good reason reason why anybody, any civilian in any allegedly civilized society, needs access to firearms that when set on full automatic can clear a 30 round clip in under two seconds, or when set on semi-auto can clear that clip in under 12 seconds. So let's not get bogged down on the tangential "fully automatic" argument. Particularly when its still so easy to get one's hands on a bump stock.
That a small section of an often flawed founding document of the nation says so, or that the highest court in the land says so...well, these are not good enough **** reasons for public access to a firearm that can clear a 30 round clip in 12 seconds.
We are an imperfect, massively flawed, and in this case, insane species...this is just **** insane.
